We represent our insurance clients in both property and liability claims. Our client base includes Reciprocal Insurance Exchanges licensed in various jurisdictions across Canada.
Major Fire Loss Litigation
Our firm has acted for various parties in a number of multi-million dollar lawsuits involving large losses due to fire. Our litigation counsel is very experienced in working with arson and other experts in various fields involved where loss is due to fire.
Insurance Defence Litigation
We act for a number of insurance providers with respect to personal and property claims arising under their various insurance policies.
General Civil Litigation
We offer litigation services in all areas of legal disputes. Our practice areas are focused on business and commercial litigation, employment matters, credit recovery and construction litigation including builder’s liens. Our litigation counsel is experienced at all levels of trial and appellate courts.
Administrative Tribunals
We represent business, professional and government clients in a variety of administrative tribunal forums including municipal planning commissions, subdivision and development appeal boards, the Municipal Government Board, the Environmental Appeal Board and the Energy and Utilities Board. Of significance is our work on behalf of the Province of Alberta at the Municipal Government Board on equalized assessments of municipalities in Alberta.
