Wills & Estate Planning

An Enduring Power of Attorney is a document that allows you to appoint someone to look after your property and your financial affairs in the event that you are no longer mentally capable of doing so yourself.

A Personal Directive is a document that allows you to appoint someone to give directions as to your medical care if you are unable to do so yourself.

Dependent Adult Applications
Sharek&Co. lawyers have considerable experience in this legal area. Whether it is an initial application or a review of a previous Order, we can assist. We are able to have Orders granted in both Trusteeship and Guardianship Authority. Retaining a Guardianship/Trusteeship Order ensures that you are the one that can make important decisions on behalf of a loved one. You do not have to worry about whether decisions are being made on behalf of the individual by persons not best suited to make those decisions. We make it a priority to ensure that our client understands the process of the dependent adult application, and that you fully understand your authority as the Guardian or Trustee.

Probate Applications
In this aspect of law, we can assist in distributing the Estate assets in accordance with the Testator’s wishes. We work closely with our clients through the process of the probate application and will, if requested, guide you through your duties as the Personal Representative.
